Someone has requested that I post some o my images of flowers. Well, here is one of them. I have not the least idea what it is. If it is not a rose or wild Iris or a dandilion, I am really dumb when it comes to flower names. I'm sure someone will come up with a name, won't you?

Hey, this is good Chuck, especially the one on the left. I don't know what they are either. I like the delicate centers, the light yellow stems. The background is just dark enuff not to intrude. Well done.

I'm sure someone will come up with a name, but it's not going to be me..lol...I agree with Pat that the camera seems to favor the blossom on the left, but they're both pretty and the composition is very nice here. With the white and yellow of the subject matter, it's nice to have something muted, yet darkened by shadow in the background. Nice pic..hope to see more :)PJ

This is lovely. The Petals are very delicate looking. The vlossom seems to be more in focus on the left but the petals on both are very in focus. If they were purple, I would think they wee a member of the African Violet family. I suppose they could be a member of that family in a small way......If my dad were around, he would now have all his bottany books out to try to discover the name, or he would just blurt it out. Sadly the garden is not an area I take after him.....lol.

AKAJON: Most people lye asleep and notice nothing around them. Just wake up and see the natural beauty around you. It will blow you away.

I think they are wild roses Chuck. The white in these is stark and beautiful and the clarity and composition is very pleasing. Very nice post and thank for sharing it.

Picture Purrrfect . A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!! Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!

Nice shot, really crisp and sharp. Makes a good desktop with two flowers like that.
Well done

I'm also naive when it comes to the proper names of flowers Chuck. All I know is these are two very pretty flowers and you've presented them very well. They just seem to glow against their background. Well done.
