Shots I took of the USAF Tunnderbirds in June down in New Mexico. First time I have seen them for real. A Wonderful experience.

Wonderful feeling of might in flight (sorry, couldn't resist that one) and flurry of motion. I can hear them now as they swing around the sky in that perfect formation that only the professional can display. You've caught them in a wonderful position as they swoop up towards the right of the pic and out of range of our view, earthbound as we are from this perspective. Very nicely composed and I enjoy the framing of this too, as it gives a little visual control back to the viewer. :)PJ

You did good on that one. It's been a long time since I have seen the Thunderbirds. What kind of aircraft are they using now? Nice work.

They are a sight to behold in person and you've done a wonderful job capturing their precision, Chuck!

This posting and "The Missing Man" are great shots of this expert team. I was fortunate enough to see the "Blue Angels" perform and will never forget the impression they made on myself and my family. Takes a special breed of men to perform as they do. "Missing Man" was impressive but I'm admiring this one most because I would think this shot from this angle had to be more difficult to time and/or pan. You did exceptionally well.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

This is just an awesome photo Chuck. So glad you got to see this personally. I imagine it was quite an experience if this photo is any indication of the show. Excellent work.
