Great looking fishing spot. The rocky wall looks great here. The "shutout" is something I'm familiar with ... McDonalds at the end of the day just doesn't cut it.
Bet the trout were happy to go swimming off though. Delightful capture and Pat did really good. Glad you shared this one Chuck, better luck next trip ;)
"Acknowledge yourself for how far you have come, instead of how far you think you have to go." I'm always happy to see you at My Gallery. I appreciate all of you. Thanks, Anita
You should switch to a bigger sinker and a marabou jig (yellow 'n' black always work for me well). That's it slowwww play it. When you think you're going too fast...slow down. :~)
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
Well now, you see, I spotted your problem right off the bat (no scoring pun intended) it's the cheering section, as cute as they are, I'm sure with all the support they were giving you, they made such ruckus that they scared your prey away :) My grandfather used to tell me to "put a sock in it" when I went catfish fishing with him...see, even then I was a blabbermouth with a lot of hot air..lol..nice pic, thank Pat for us :)PJ
I have never understood flyfishing and all that constant jerking of the pole and all that flipping of a far too long line. Someone will have to explain it to me. Great capture.
Pat
LOL- I guess that's the way it goes sometimes Chuck. I wouldn't call it a wasted day at all enjoying nature as you are here. Very nice photo from Miss Pat.
Looks so much like my fav trout stream here in Pa. Incidentally, liked your zoom in to capture the wildfires on the lower right across the stream and posted as "Wildfires on the Conjejos River". As a Freelance Photographer, I too always make sure I get at least 2 or 3 shots from a great view.
