You take the path to the wetlands, make the curve in the trail and there he is. The Man in the Tree!! Don't take this trail after dark.

Too cool Chuck. What a great grouping of trees -- with the watchdog centerstage. Well done yet again.

Wicked shot, Chuck. I bet at night it really does look spooky. Great work.

Well, it may be ghostly on some levels, and I wouldn't vouch for it after midnight...but it's kinda cute too..lol..I see that it doesn't stand on its own as far as scaring anyone away. It seems to have some pretty interesting body guards staunchly in place "just in case" :) The bark on these protectors shows up how clear a pic this is as you can see all the detail you'd care to in the shadows that encase these stout allies. And the colors are displayed in an amazing array, actually, from the light grey on the left to the darker grey behind the subject, to the dappled grey on the right to the delightful light two-toned brown on the extreme right. It's interesting to see that varied an amount of color in bark so close together, as I assume that they must have grown up from the roots of the dead tree that contains the man...oh, and speaking of which...he just can't be that scary, as I see he also sports a belly button..lol...nice post :)PJ

Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!

LOL at this one Chuck. It looks as though it's trying to be so scary with that face. Now, if it were dark and I shined a flashlight on this I would probably scream!.
