Don't ask me what they are. I haven't the slightest idea. I found them in the Rio Grande National Forest and thought they were beautiful. This will be my last posting for a few days. We are off to the mountains in Southern Colorado for the fall colors. See Ya.

Oh goodie, hope you bring me back some real snazzy fall colors. Meanwhile, this will have to do. I don't know what they are either but I love the yellow color. Beautiful work.

I'm with you Chuck! I think they're beautiful too! That yellow is so vivid it really stands out in the photo! This has an almost 3D feel to it; nicely done & have a great time! Wish I was going!!

Appears to be golden pea (Thermopsis rhombifolia). Very common at higher elevations in the West. Makes a lovely picture, especially against the interesting out-of-focus background you captured here. Great shot!
