I have to apologize for the little snow in these photos. We only had about 2 inches on Wednseday afternoon and it was mostly gone early thursday. Well, the point of my trip was to find the color in the Aspen trees. Hope you like them.

This is great Chuck. Love the snow weighing down the fall colored leaves and while it's not an abundance of snow, it seems just the right amount for this lovely post. Very well done.

You had a great eye for this one Chuck. Just a simple small piece of what had to be an overall lovely scene and you captured and composed it just beautifully. Rest easy my friend about my liking this one. I DID!! ... very much so.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

It makes for a colorful contrast and study in same. Anita and Muggsy are right on all their points, and I'd like to add that I have nothing to complain about here and that I also like the fact that because the snow was so wet, it stained the tree to the right in the background a very nice dark brown that makes the colors, white and aspen yellow stand out all the more.very nice post :)PJ

Chuck, don't apologize! This is absolutely gorgeous. It's really nice to see the fall colors through the snow, and your composition is lovely.

It sure looks neat with the snow, Chuck - Fall colors are beautiful and the snow adds an extra beauty of its own. It's composed well and is a very nice image!

You've successfully accomplished your mission Chuck. This is such a wonderful photo of simplicity and beauty. The golden colors of the leaves in contrast to the white snow is just amazing in this. I hope we get just a little snow where I live. It would be so pretty to see but very doubtful.
