Tell ya what. There's been more than one occassion when Iwished I could get away and never be found again. Two dollars a night, huh? How much a night if I rent it for a year?
Good clear compelling capture.

what an attractive setting
just one thing and this may sound weird
the lone sapling in the foreground makes it look less remote
just a feeling I get, I wish it was very remote
otherwise a nicely layed out picture
love the miles of forest :)

Well, it may not be much but it could be a life saver if you had nothing & were stranded, eh?! Then it would be priceless! This is one they advertise in real estate ads as a "fixer upper", or " needs some modernizing". LOL

While it looks a little run down, at some point in its days, it must have been great...and gives wonder to the history. Nice clarity and composition Chuck and glad you shared this one.

You drive a hard bargain Chuck ... but any port in a storm as they say. Not exactly what you would call a "Bed & Breakfast" kind of accomodation, but nicely posted my friend.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
