Yes there is a deer in there. Look closely at the edge of the water, near the middle of the image. This is on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, recently turned into a new State Wildlife Preserve. It is within 10 miles of downtown Denver and encompasses 37000 acres. It has just opened to the public and I intend to spend a lot of time there. There are several lakes with hugh fish and a herd of approximately 700 deer. An abundance of other wildlife is here too. They are going to bring in some buffalo and antalope too. I hope to be selected to shoot pictures from some blinds that are now located there this fall.

Beautiful shot Chuck! I see the deer plain as can be! Terrific colors in this! Sounds like a neat place they got going there! I think that's real cool they are turning an old arsenal into a game preserve! What a great use for it! Hope you get to use the blinds! Just make sure you share what you get with us!
