This is a bear cub from the Cleveland Metropark Zoo. This little dude and his siblings are not even a year old yet! :) Sorry I haven't been online. Life is keeping me busy. Trying to get back to school, work, and being very ill the last month. But I'll try harder to be on here. :)

I missed this little guy when I was there this summer. Fantastic shot of the cutie, Robin. I hope you are feeling a lot better now. Happy New Year!

Elbows off the table, young cub! Robin you seem to have escaped the bear's attention, now might be a good time to abscond with his honey pot. Or does that only happen in Disney movies? Nice clarity and textures in this capture, Robin. Is he available for hugs? Good work and hope you're feeling better. Happy New Year.

First and foremost, Happy New Year to you and yours.

And yes, most definitely here's to you feeling better and soon. :o)

Now then.. to get you back up on the creative horse..

Hope you don't mind. This will save your eyes a whole lot of wear and tear:

"Sittin' Pretty" - Shadow/Highlight Adjustments / High Pass Sharpening / Curves & Hue/Saturation Colour Adjustment

Really a cute shot, and a number of things work well on the note of composition alone. The natural framing in the right-hand side, and then.. the one branch acting as a leading line to your subject.

Caveats?

There is a slight yellow colour cast to your photo to my eyes and monitor. Which, and in turn.. blended the lil' furry cutie into the background a tad.

So..

Employing a tutorial on site here, namely that of Phil's; aka philcUK "Faking the HDR thing..." did the bulk of the corrections in one post processing/editing creative fell swoop (<--- try saying that fast three times :oP).

That nonsense and drivel of mine aside..

Brought me in for a closer look, mission accomplished, methinks. :o)
