Another of my blends using Picasa 3.#! This is the one my wife wanted me to enter into the lines contest... but my son & his wife voted for the other. I wanted to enter both in my way... but was short of time. We found both the tracks and the Church beside each other while on a bicycle trip in Whistler, BC. We had a very pleasant time there even with the intermittent rain. :o) By the way... she (CecileSW) has become a member at Caedes... and she wanted me to post this! Being smart like I am... I obeyed her wish! :o)

This particular photo is Much to my liking ... at first sight, resembles the St-Lazare Train Station in Paris ... giving you a TEN for composition and subject as well as most exquisite tone... would look GREAT as a FULL SCREEN desktop ... or a wall size poster or simply enlarged and framed! ... it is sheer art !WELL DONE CON

I like it as well Con. You should have listened to your own mind, but I know what you mean about being a smart man. Great effect. I feel like I just missed my train.

Interesting photo. Unusual, too, but I like it.

Both paths lead to destinations unseen, but we still know they're there. Sublties abound here. I might've been inclined to either deepen the contrast of one of the layers, or desaturate the entire work, and really let the various elements merge as one.

I'll be revisiting this one a few time, I imagine, so off to the faves heap it goes. :o)
