Yesterday, I found a few .cr2 images on my HD and couldn't do anything with them except within Irfanview (and now Irfanview won't load the .raw file it created!). I googled and came across three proggies, one of them being Raw Therapee 2.4.1. It allows me to do things to the .cr2 files and to .jpg! I used RT to sharpen and distort this .jpg image... I liked the result more than the 'straight' original, so here it is! Raw Therapee has gone to version 3 now but they rate it as unstable (experimental), say it has great new functions and seem to give out only OpenSource. If you wish to try it out or get involved in its development... http://www.rawtherapee.com/?mitem=3 will get you to their website where you can get your paws on whatever you wish to have of theirs! :o)                                            The other two proggies I found were Fotografix15 and FDRToolsBasic240. These two are free also, but you can upgrade to a paid version (free trial with watermark). RT is simply free! :o) The three of them were recommended to have as a package to deal with RAW files! I have tried only RT so far.       Edit: I have now 'tried' Fotografix15 and it won't read a .cr2 file... it seems Foto only likes .raw! And I don't like it's editing features!     Further Edit: FDRTools sees and loads .cr2 files... even .cr2 files renamed to .raw but it seems to be for hdr work only... FDR and Fotografix are now gone from my computer! :o) And FDR is now really gone... I had to do a few manual deletes as the Win uninstall left a few folders and files here & there! :o( And from the Registry too!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
