Finding a calm anchorage, sailors said it was like a featherbed. Knysna, South Africa. The nature reserve here is named after the Bay.

Knysna is mos where the story of 'Kringe in die Bos' is centered? Is this the bay mentioned in the book? I would be interessted, if anybody knows...

I became intrigued counting the triangles in this composition...the various rock formations, the line of the bay itself, the white foam in the middle ground, the shape of the dark trees on the rock ledge across the bay, the sweep of the wildflowers in the foreground. I'm sure there are more! Nice capture on some really interesting clouds. Somehow, I wanted just a wee bit more...maybe a couple gulls in the sky would have helped. All in all, lovely picture, well done!
