OK! It's not an Eagle. Not to worry, it's not a sunrise either. A friend named this one as a joke. I liked it, so I named it. This seagull swept over my head and I caught it as it flew away from me. I wasn't sure if the shot would come out or not. When I got the slide developed, I was quite pleased. Kodachrome 64/MInolta X700 on Auto.

Such a brightly lit composition here...the water speaks to me first though with the absolutely perfect reflection of the sky that comes all the way to the foreground. Well, I wouldn't have been able to tell what kind of bird it was, but I guess eagles don't hang around oceans very much...doh!...You were sure quick with that capture of the bird :)PJ

This photo makes me want to fall asleep. I wish I could have been there with you when you took the photo--looks ABSOLUTELY FANTASTICAL. The orange is a nice, bright color for a desktop too.

How fiery and beautiful this setting is, but then I live near the Pacific Ocean and my love is to watch any sunset at any time. I love the way you put this pic together...its great!!..Verena

What matters at this precious moment is what has always mattered: the dailiness of life. Everything significant is small and slow.
