The filtered effect is unusual and arresting...but I think I'd like the original version also! Could I talk you into posting the original? I love texture-based shots and your use of a filter made this one different and well worth putting on a desktop. I also like the color play and that you kept the vent ring in the dark area, so it wouldn't steal from the main show, which is the woven straw.

Ah the Poster artictic effect, one of my favorite. Your image makes a great desktop (icons on background oppose to background cluthered with icons). I use these for PoerPoint presentation, and as such this texture will be put to a good use. Thanks
