First, I really like the offset placement of the central portion. That works very well to my eyes. And admittedly, I am a bit biased towards doing so.
And I have to say, if I didn't know better ... would never had guessed that your flame here came from the same set of parameters. Truly.

Going to take a guess at some of the variations you introduced and I have a suggestion for you. For next time of course. New stuff ... "Variables" tab. Once again, in the Transform Editor window. Depending on which transform can be credited with the creation of the purple spheres that spiral inwards ... try entering a small negative number for either julian_power or _distribution. Experimentation is key once more. Might add some additional detail.
