This is a picture of the American Falls part of Niagara falls. It was taken while I was on the Maid of the Mist Boat. Notice the people on the walkway in the right of the photo. Hope you enjoy it.
Very unique view to see. At first I thought the railings were some sort of cart that had been tossed over. The people really give a nice perspective to the size of this. Good job:-)
Very very special, this shot is so rushing & roaring that it's almost as if looking live at the real thing! Great job.
P.s. was your camera also wrapped in yellow?
I was a young girl when I took my trip on The Maid of the Mist. It was one wet ride! I felt so little and powerless yet brave and in awe of the beauty around me. Nice capture. And, like Paul, I'm a bit amazed your camera wasn't dripping.
Good morning,
I just got around to looking at your Misty Rocks image. What a superb image! I love the way you used the people to give the falls some perspective. Keep posting and you will soon have a steady following. I just returned from a short visit to Canada. I photographed the Maid of th Mist from above. It seems like the only way you can take a bad photo of this area is to leave our lens cap on.!:0)

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

Wow! Look at the size of those boulder/rocks. I have been on the walkway and theres not much protection..just as it looks - gulp! Wonderful capture of the mist and the force of the water. I'm always fascinated & alittle scared by these falls - such an abundance of power. Thanks for another view of Niagara...
at first when i saw this, i did not realize the large scale (niagara falls) of the boulders/rocks. i also just glanced at the people and thought the railings were a type of caged bird feeder---i'm a little tired right now. but then i read your description and saw the people and then realized how big the rocks really were. it's funny how we use humans as scale on objects. great picture.
p.s. you wrote me a note a long time ago about my jelly fish pictre. they took it down, but i'm becoming more active again on caedes. i'll post it again soon.
