Not an eclips, just beautiful coloratoin over the city, probably caused by polution :P still I loved this moonrise and had to capture it :) used 2 images to compose it because 1 exposure would have been impossible to capture what it actually looked like - 1 over exposed moon image for foreground lighting and 1 moon exposure where moon was exposed for detail, then combined in photoshop - 300mm focal length when shot :)

Very impressive shot. I once saw a full August moon rising from the sea and it was huge and red just like this one and I'm sure it wasn't pollution cause I was on a quiet island. Your pic reminds me just that, and how i wished i had a camera with me back then! I'ts really a great pic and thanx for posting.

Great shot. Luv that orange color. Did you know that we on earth always see the same side of the moon, never any other view or angle.So, it's the same moon that the ancients saw.

ohm my godd... of all the beautiful captures of the moon yours is probably the best most likely because you captured not just the pumpkin moon but the bizarre quality of the landscape, esp. with the long exposure of car lights. This image resonates with me very much. And, you piqued my curiosity: what is the strange light mark to the right and lower of the moon? 'Cuz for the life of me I dunno.
