I have taken shots of hummingbirds, but not like this. Very good job. It's in my Fav's. Love the motion captured in the wings.

Thanks for the comment. I love watching hummingbirds, especially when I see them in my yard.

The funny thing is that I took it with a simple camera - the Canon Shot A70.

Great catch! These birds flit around at light speed. I really like the angle of the shot on the hummingbird. It seems like most hummingbirds are photographed from the side or front. But this "rise of the Phoenix", full-spread rear posture allows us a view of some wonderful details: the tuck of the tail, the sheen of the feathers, the ruffled feather exertion of movement. Very nice. :)

Great capture - amazing how fast those wings have to flap. Really beautiful and tranquil image. I use a Canon Powershot A60 - but im thinking of up grading - its a really nice camera.

Love it - keep it up!
