Taken from a rampart on the wall surrounding the city Dinan. This viaduct goes over the Rance valley, and is used as a modern day freeway. It really was an incredible point of view, and very dizzying. Additionally-- does anyone know the name for a protected city on a hill, usually of medieval architecture? A dell? Citadel? Is that right? Again, thanks so much for posting any comments and thoughts.

What a wonderful picture taken from that vantage point. You were lucky to have the opportunity to get above it like that. The way everything tilts goes well with the title you gave it. Suggestion: the structure under the bridge looks like a really interesting subject, too, if you shoot from below looking up. And, yes, citadel is the word you are looking for.

Thanks so much for clarifying that word in English: citadel. So it turns out this city in France, Dinan, is a citadel. I appreciate everyone commenting, and all the interesting observations.

Thank you all and have a great day,
cheers! ~Sasha

Vertigo--you got that right. But it would be a pleasant experience from this view.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

What an intriging picture! It makes me think I am soaring over the top of it and enjoy the view. Nice colors and great presentation position.
