The walled city of Concarneau, in Brittany, France. This is an outer wall of the main castle, and they take great care in landscaping it-- the resulting appeal is nice, I believe.
Sasha, this is so colorful and lovely. Your photo has great depth and very nice lighting. What an outstanding capture and post. Thanks for sharing this with us.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Your perspective on this picture is just perfect for us to be able to see all the marvelous plantings in the openings along the wall. Your clarity is good, and I'm glad because I love to see big bunches of clear flowers like this. I find it interesting too that the flowers are all in the sun while the wall itself is in the shade which also points up the contrast between the roughness of the stones and all their somber colorations and the bright blossoms that are definitely the focal point of this capture. I also note the difference in the stones, or cobbles in the street and the ones that were used in the wall. Excellent shot..in my faves :)PJ
Great perspective and nice colors. I like the detail of the concrete wall. It seems like you might have overdone it a little on the magenta in photoshop but it might just be my eyes doing tricks on me.
Thanks to all for the thoughtful comments. Actually, aplfalcon, I only took out a few blotchy areas and shadows in Photoshop-- the flowers are natural extroverts!
