This is a rainy-day morning on a lake in Alberta Canada. It rained our whole trip. At first it was disappointing, but then we decided rain has a beauty of it's own. Later we got pictures of lots of newborn creatures from Moose to bear to mountain goats.

Very nice indeed. It has more character than a straight postcard perfect shot. Nice composition too.

Yes, I did a slight enhancement with an anamorphic flare behind the clouds...look closely. I was looking for exactly the right mood and this gave it to me.

I wish I could be more creative in the use of words here, since I have said this before ... simple, yes, but not certainly not simplistic. I really like this. Visually so so strong.
Have to admit, now I am curious as to what the before image looked like.
