For some reason I love the textural-ecocative- abstract qualities of grunge. I offer this piece that I'd love to paint in acrylics and put on the wall of my office. There isn't anything to understand here. What you see is what you get. It makes a very nice wallpaper.

While not my particular style I have to admit, this would be very striking as a painting. Cool work Peter.

Sooooooooooo, maybe I will make a go at your idea??! The red is gorgeous...the black looks like the remains of a small village and a bit of a "disaster" goin' on ! It would look darned interesting done in acrylic and hanging up in a precarious spot somwhere...nice idea Peter!...........verena

I started doing this kind of art back in the 60's and it still has an appeal for me. You really do need to see this one full size to see all the grid detail. Thanx all for the very nice comments. Many of my oils and acrylics have only three "colors" in them, Red, Black and While...I wonder what that sez about my personality <grin>.

I have to say that I don't believe the c-index you've gotten on this one. It doesn't fairly reflect the fine work you've done. But sometimes a person needs an explanation while they're viewing this type of art to realize that it's being presented just for what it is and is not expected to be a representation of anything in particular...in other words it needs a "rap" which is not possible in the voting booth. Perhaps that explains it..I don't know, but I do know that this is an impressive piece of art for its genre :)PJ

I like the pattern on this one, a LOT, but the red hurts my eyes, even when I'm only looking at the preview. It's too bright. Maybe a darker red, or a different color.

However, props on the design, it's simple & speaks for itself. It's kind of hard to put words to something as simplistic (meaning that as a compliment) as this, so I'll stop trying :p.

This would make a great painting, but I have to agree that the red is a bit too bright for a desktop background.

Okay I admit it...it is a bit to red for the desktop. I've tried it and after a while it gets to you. But I needed that exact shade of red to accomplish my visualization of what I wanted to paint...Thanx for all the nice comments guys.

The black looks like a FTIR scan, I'll have to wait on the red.
