I just had to upload a fall picture and since I'm not in Aspen at the moment, here's how fall looks in silicon valley. I shot the scene with my new ultra-compact Olympus FE280 and did a simple two layer manipulation just for fun. On the lower layer I used the find edges filter and then did a multiply composite with small opacity adjustments.

These beautiful leaves look almost like they are made of copper. Such a gorgeous dimension they have against that purpled pinkish background colour.I especially love the shadows, they give a ton of depth to these precious leaves. What a delicious piece of art this would make, framed, and on a wall to match it's beauty. Verena
