I typically get my best pointers from Sheldon and Wendell; so listen to whatever they have to say. However, I must be in a bad mood and will take it out on your photograph for no good reason.
You've chosen an excellent subject. The foreground colors are very nice. However, the background seems overexposed somewhat and even a little unfocused. The white sky in the background seems unnatural and I would try to tone down some of the background grass a bit. This looks like a photograph I might take.
The very wide aperture has made a rather shallow depth of field in the near foreground. It's quite obvious on the path, and the point of focus is approximately the same distance as the tree on the right. There seems to be sufficient light for a smaller aperture, but if you didn't or are unable to set an aperture manually, you can also control this by choosing a higher ISO number, such as ISO 400, which will close down the lens 2 f/stops from what is usually the factory setting.
The overall image is unbalanced, and cropping in from the right border to the middle of the large tree, just taking out to the opening between the two trunks will decentralize the pathway and improve both balance and composition. Itis a nice tranquil scene.
