Come, my friends, 'Tis not too late to seek a new world. Push off, and sitting well in order smite The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths Of all western stars, Until I die. Tennyson, "Ulysses"

So many images like these usually look like the graphics in a low-budget film on the Sci-Fi channel -- horribly obvious and flat with huge patches of fake textures. This one is very nice and the only thing obvious about it is the time you spent on it. When I first saw it in the voting booth I wasn't certain it wasn't a photo until I enlarged it. Those reflections of light in the water are completely believable. Nice job!

This is absolutely gorgeous! At first sight I thought... this shot looks a bit like a painting. But then I realised it was yours and so a rendered pic....
Superb work!

Love the "coolness" of the evening shades of blues. I can almost feel the air. Very nicely composed, Randy. Definitely a keeper! Wen
