An experiment! Mourning the lack of blue roses in the world. =) I hope you like it...this is my first shot at something like this. Comments and critiques appreciated!

Great job!! This is going directly to my desktop because of all the flowers in the world, I am dying to find a blue rose! It would be so great if these actually grew, but you never know, there are new roses being discovered all the time. Thank you so much for sharing this, you've done a wonderful job manipulating it.
tell you what?...that i still love you? that i want to be with you for the rest of our lives and that im stupid for leaving you? well thats what i wanted to say but like i said it wont change a thing, because you love ashton and i cant leave krystalynne.
I saw this on the featured ones, and I must say, it is very beautiful... one thing though, the green and the blue look a touch bright. However, it is a very good manipulation!!
I agree-there should be lots of blue roses! This is gorgeous - it looks real to me :) The touch of dew is lovely - but OH, that blue is sensational & sensual. Extra good job!!
Laurel this is a really beautiful image. It's sharp and lovely. The dew drops add great depth. I do think it would have done your subject much honor to give her a bit more light. I like the subtleness - the dusky background against the deep color of the rose - and it can be done. I can see what you're going for, but it's not quite there yet. Try a few variations in lighting and see what you come up with. Have you tried it bouncing flash off the ceiling? Great artistic capture. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
