I have no idea what kind of butterfly it is, but my little sister Natalie was playing with it at our camp in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. It was just sitting on her hand! We had a lot of tame butterflies at our camp...I'll upload the other shot of a different one later. I really like how this one turned out! Comments appreciated! =) -Laurel

I love how the butterfly looks sitting on the tip of the finger. It makes me realize how small this one is. Of course the colours naturally are beautiful, but best of all is that this little butterfly landed on her hand, and you snapped the picture. Woah. Super good. Super crisp with a nice soft background. the proportions make it look like a small butterfly even though in the picture it is very large. I also like the one of the butterfly on the face. That's such a moment.
