I like the depth this shot is give us, but I'm not sure where to put my focus. I want it to be the bamboo but they aren't clear enough the main object in the picture (without the description) Nice colour selection in plain view. I could see this working as a water colour picture as well.

Hi Jimmy, I am so sorry to say that it is difficult for me to see what I am viewing! Perhaps this is me and my focus is off! But one must remember that we all had a beginning and moved from that place to a place where we could better envision exactly where we were headed and knew just what we wanted! I think that is what is happening here, but better days and better photos will be yours in the future! The colors are very nice, please just continue to practice, experiment, and just have fun, relax and learn to be confortable with your camera, perhaps consider it a best friend, and I will expect great things from you! Thanks for the comments. The idea of this picture was mainly for contrast of color. The title is a throw off, but it was intended. The actual focal point is supposed to be the frog, which I could have placed differently since it tends to lead the eye off the page. The frog was also in a bad spot because I wasn't taking into consideration people who actually use desktop icons. I hate icons so I don't have any on my desktop.
