This image was take at Balboa Park in San Diego. The sun had just gone down and the lights in the park had just come one. This fountain happened to catch my eye.
I took a quick peek at your gallery and you do capture some interesting perspectives and scenes and objects. What I would refer to as a natural and inquisitive eye. Good stuff. Certainly not lacking in the technical chops area either.
This image has some great visual appeal. It may not follow the 'rules,' as there is some ... some horizontal tilt ... placing a focal point off center might get a few more kudos from the experts ... however ... recall, 'I like this' for the sheer visual impact it makes. It grabbed my attention in thumbnail size.
As jds commented above, you did well given the conditions. Good detail and clarity. The real only caveat I have, would be the composition. As gorgeous a shot as this is, I think you might have been able to kick it up a notch or two, had you not tried to be so symmetrical in it's presentation. My opinion only here.
Purmusic, thanks for the comments. I actually don't really believe in photo editing and such. I believe that what you snap is what you should use. If that's what I was feeling at the moment, that is what I go with. Thanks for viewing my other pics as well.
