this is quite unique.. really like the way the facial features are laid out.. the zipper is quite a touch.. the use of the trees / fractal in the background really helps to set the mood.. good color choices also.. only thing i can really say against the image is size.. quite a bit small for most here.. but still, a very nice job..

yeah i apologize about the size, my monitor only goes up to 1024X768 i just started doing this kind of art and im having trouble working in sizes larger than my monitor

I like this alot. I must say I find it more amusing or humorous than grotesque or painful but I've got some odd tastes. I guess the grotesque, as with beauty and virtually everything else, is in the eye of the beholder. Nice technique. Thanks for sharing it and I hope things work our for you.

I agree with Zyrogerg, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What you've created is a beautiful image. Grotesque yes, but still beautiful, just in a different way. You seem to convey emotions well through this image. I don't know what your feeling or going through but I see pain. The eyes seem to me to be frightened and panicked. the zipper where the mouth should be conveys to me a desire to communicate but either and inability to do so or a truth that is to hurtful to speak of. It's a very emotional image to me. Beautiful but sad. I think you did a very good job on this.
