Another angle of my very first post of San Vito Romano. The town is just few miles from home. I like the position (800 mt) and is split into the new and old town. The new is full of Villas in Liberty or Art Deco stile, the old side instead is like this, so charming and full of scales. Enjoy.

Although possibly a little over exposed in places i love this downward view of the steps and the way the steps seem to twist through the image. The colours and composition is as always, wonderful :)

Ed,

Great HDR. The angle is very good and so are the colours.

Wonderful peek down these stairs from your higher vantage point. So lovely it must be to walk those stairs seeing all those wonderful plantings and the lovely buildings that line the way.

Did you use a little Norton along with your FDR Ed? It sure is beautiful. This is how I remember your wonderful country. Excellent post.

I love this location, it looks like 1000 beautiful photographic opportunities waiting to be shot! Wonderful layers of stairs, buildings and plants. Lots of points of interest leading the eye into the shot each with its own texture and color to capture the imagination.

Great perspective ... I feel as if I'm going down the stairs taking in the view below as well as the surroundings. A few over-exposed areas, but I'm sure enjoying the glowing light on the buildings & vegetation. A superb capture Ed.

Neat effects! The reddish-gold building in the center back looks metallic!
