Quite interesting to see all the different kinds of wood and panels here. The radio looks ancient too :0) It looks as though the man has just stepped out for a moment.

Highly original subject matter, crammed with lots of fascinating details - like the pair of specs on the desk. Well done, Ed.

It has been fun looking around in there EDV. I like the lady peering over the still life painting. All the plans and tools used in the trade. It even has a good luck horseshoe over the door. Great post.

Wood inlay? Are what seems to be paper packets actually holding bits of wood? It seems that the indexing system is by shelf. Fun place, looks like it is still used today.

Ed - A wonderful photo. HDR adds much to the scene. Superstitious, the horseshoe over the door is a nice touch to this obviously busy, cluttered workspace. Thad

Truly an old world master's workshop, inlay being a difficult and intricate process to learn. Although there are some rather modern elements in here, the antique and mysterious feel is brought out by your use of HDR, again, "just enough." Another delightful piece, Edoardo.
