I used a combination of filters, over-saturating the sky. Just an experiment. I'll appreciated your feedback.

It is a lovely view! I like how the textures of the wall come out. For the sky, I think I would prefer to see a graduated tint rather than the solid colour or apply a fog effect. That being said, it's still a good solid work.

I really like your experimenting with this, as it all looks very real, but I too don't care much about the sky being so very sharp, I'd rather see it in a lighter varigated colour.More realistic. But the old structure is awesome. Verena

The sky makes a good backdrop for this building EDV. It sure is noise free. Perhaps a little bright.

The walls are outstanding, so is the angle. The clouds looming up over the ruin seem symbolic, somehow. My first thought was that the sky is too blue, the bush too yellow... BUT... after taking some minutes with this, I have decided that the foreground bush colors work with the brick corners and the blue blue sky makes it all stand out. My vote? WONDERFUL!

I like the sky. I tend to go overboard myself. The building is great. I like the details of the stone.

Ed - The vivid clarity and textures are exceptional. From you work on the sky, there is a ghosting along its edges. Was the color of the stone wall affected by the saturation of the sky?

I love the effect you've achieved on the leaves and masonry, Ed. Magical. The clouds top-left look great too.

The wall looks great with the textures and lighting. The sky is a bit overdone, I think. Ed. Altogether a bright and cheerful image.
