This one's especially for Nelly - who loves elephants - and Sayed - who's from India. An Indian female elephant - we have two of them in our ZOO at Kraków since this winter. The old one died last year - she was more then 50 years old! She's beautiful isn't she? :) Just look at her eyes...

One of the first thing I noticed was her eyes and the lashes. At first I thought she looked sad but maybe she was just tired. Nice shot.

I'm just about 2 go out 4 the evening but felt I had 2 comment on this great upload. She looks very sociable,and has a dignity about her. Does these zoo elephants ever give the public rides ?
