Cool lamps. lol. Great composition. Though, it's a bit grainy and not quite the right lighting. It would be better either darker so the lights inside the lamp stood out or lighter so you could see the detail better. Good shot, though.

This is one of the very few pictures posted where I don't have a mad urge to get rid of the powerlines! The composition is such that the background lines contribute to the picture and make a pleasing whole. (I love the way the lamps line up with the powerline grid and that the shadows on the lamp glass repeat the grid pattern). For this reason, I'm not too troubled by the lack of detail in the lamps themselves. In fact, I rather like the muted light...but a strong preference for lack of glare is a personal prejudice.
