I'm a beginner photographer, and I was very pleased with this shot. Easy and such, but still pleased. First image ever posted, too :)

Ethan - Your Depth of Field allows for a crisp focus on the tallest mushroom, with both foreground and background having a desired blur. With the brown tones dominating the scene, I'm not sure I'd leave the bot of green in the upper left; rather, I might have cloned it out. WIth this nice close up, I look forward to more of your posts. Thad

You're absolutely right. The green at the top would distract a viewer, considering it distracts me as well. I'll pay more attention to that next time. Thank you for the comment! Ethan

I like this as well and do agree with Thad on the green, but otherwise a wonderful shot of the mushrooms.

The bit of green is a small mistake. I'm sure I could done worst. :) If anything I'm not in love with the brown on brown.

You got a good focus on the details of the mushroom and I'm kinda happy to see that they aren't centered.

Over all a good job. :)

I like this unique shroom. Maybe a bit of cropping would out of that bit at the top left, but this is a grand photo. And I welcome you to caedes. Verena
