This is another frozen waterfall in a local park. I had planned on returning to the park for a better shot of this perhaps. But it seems mother nature doesn't want to cooperate. It rained the other day and the temperatures have risen and all the ice has since melted. So I used this shot from my earlier trip. Hope you like it and your comments welcomed.

Another wonderful shot of the frozen falls, Wendell! I especially like how the fir trees soften the look of the frigid ice formation, and the angle which you chose, to include some rocks and foliage in the foreground. Very well done!

Wendell - The texture of the ice on the falls is fascinating. I like the overhead light on the falls and snow. Thad

Hey my dear friend...so sorry I haven't been around much lately. But I do look at your postings. ENjoy very much the icy ones such as this one. So wonderful what nature even in its extreme can do. You took this photo perfectly. I really always wish I could go out and find these things, but I dont venture out much by myself to snowy mountain areas...thanx again.Verena
