I'm not really sure which gallery to stick this one in. I present to you a photo of the rare porcelain lawn duck. I spent several days stalking these beasts, skulking behind hedges and crawling beneath bushes before I was able to get a decent shot. This may be one of them. I was unable to get a shot of the male in his magnificent plumage, as he is even more skittish than the female and young. The lawn duck predators are many and include the lawnmower (particularly the ride-on), croquet ball and/or mallet, and small children who want to see them fly free. Hope you enjoy and your comments welcomed.
Except for those porcelain ducks, it's a great photo of the pretty yellow flowers and the beautiful greenery that I miss so terribly. The wild baseball bat carrying Roger must be added to the list of predators. Thanks for the laugh at the end of a very long day.
