I shot this photo back in late April of this year. For those that may want to know, that is a robin in the tree resting after a hard day of worm hunting or nest building. Cloned out a mess of power lines that crisscrossed the background of the scene. Outside of that I didn't do much else to the image. Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

The sun looks so close it's melting the tree, Wendell. A really nice composition with all those diagonal branches.

...and I can not believe I just took some photos of a bird on the branches of my huge tree, without this spetacular sunset, only normal sky, I will post in the future. Congratulations for your work!

There's an excellent wow factor on this photo, Wendell. The next time I'm looking for an orange desk top, I know where to go to get one. Looks to me like you used a telephoto lens with some sort of filter so as not to burn the eyeballs right out of your head. Whatever you did, you have yourself a keeper. I like the criss-crossing branches. The bird looks so small in contrast to the vastness of the sky.

Oh, this is sweet Wendell! A beautiful setting in which to contemplate...on what you may ask? I don't know, perhaps we should ask the bird :) I love the silhouettes against the golden tones in the sky, and the way the Sun's brilliance travels along the tops of the trees in the background! Very peaceful mood, and wonderful work, my friend! :)
