Continuing on my wanton trail of destruction of public property. Today I was a little more gentle, I only uprooted one utility pole and cut another in half, but I at least let the trees survive and planted a few rose bushes. On the other hand I totaled some fella's truck, his own fault really for leaving it parked out in the open like that. Then there's the matter of cutting the power to the lighthouse. This lighthouse was erected back in 1876, with a few bits added later on. It stand 49 feet high and the light can be seen for 12 nautical miles out to sea, no telling how far inland :) The lighthouse stands at the Wood Islands ferry terminal on Prince Edward Island. I took this photo as the ferry was docking. The sign claims it to be the southern most tip of the island, so who am I to argue. Hope you enjoy and your comments welcomed.
