I'm still awaiting the official arrival of winter and a proper snowfall to hit the region. It should be duly noted, not eagerly waiting. So in lieu of some snow photos I was reduced to taking this shot of some slight frost that saw fit to rear its head on Christmas day. Rather pathetic isn't it.

Totally not presented as shot. I really messed with the settings for this one. A splash of colour here, some cropping there, the odd bit of cloning, add some shadows and some possible highlighting took place. Best seen as an icon through squinted eyes while looking the other way.

Hope you don't mind and your comments welcomed.

So is it just me or does anyone else see a lion's head in the image?

I stared at this forever (4 minutes at most lol) trying to find the lion's head you mentioned. The only thing that I could find that looked remotely like one, was at the top right corner of the image.

First of all, Wendell, lions live in Africa in a warm climate; so the chances of capturing a photo of a lion's head in frost is very slight. Additionally, a lion's head is massive and would have left no room for the frost. I do, however, see a number of partial nudes and will be contacting the Caedes family about your indiscreet posting.

You should see what I've been reduced to posting because of the constant rain and fog.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I am seeing a little mouse at the corner right Wendell! I like the colors and lightning of your laboratory and is possible to see a lot of things there depending the mood...:-)

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Thanks, now I am cross-eyed and no more the wiser about the lion. :)

how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB
