This would be Redd & Rory. A couple of squirrels out in the yard in search of food and anything else they can wrap their paws around.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

They are definitely red Wendell. They look quite playful.

So you finally have some snow like the rest of us? These guys remind me of Chip and Dale except they're squirrels not chipmunks - very cute.

Looks like lost keys for one of them and lost car for the other! Either way, an interesting and humorous photo, Wendell.

Wendell, I've arrived at the scene of the crime a little later than usual. I've read the comments above and can't bring myself to agree with a "great shot" comment. Your narrative is uninspired which hints that you might think much of this posting either.

Sorry to say that this is not one of my favorites. I've never even seen a brown squirrel in person. But if they're anything like their gray cousins, this are very quick and can be difficult to shoot unless they're on a branch chompin' down on lunch. The squirrel on the left has some motion blur. The one on the right seems pretty well focused, but there's some sort of a contrast issue which is making him so dark that most of the detail is being sucked into the dark fur. Finally the red reflector doesn't do a thing to help the shot. The overall composition seems a bit scattered. Call me a bitch, but I'm trying to be an honest bitch (at least on this shot).

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
