Or at least I thought this was mine, but I have since been informed it now belongs to him. Him being Randall who was mistakenly identified as Redd or Rory in an earlier photo. I haven't heard the end of it since then, so I figured I'd better rectify the situation.
Having uncovered this apple out of the snow bank Randall now faced the difficult task of lugging it to someplace safe and private so he could enjoy the fruit of his labours. He eventually settled on hugging it close after finding out it was too large to carry with his mouth. I got the feeling he weren't too impressed having someone follow his every move with a camera.Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

And by the looks of things, this bounty should keep Randall well-fed for the rest of this winter.
Comical capture, and a nice one at that.
Good good colour and clarity/focus. Nicely composed as well.
Caveats?
Not sure if it is my non-caffeinated eyes at the moment.. any post work done?
Seems that, perhaps, some work was done in and around Randall and his immediate vicinity? Lightening things up a tad, maybe?
If so, open your image up full-size.. ... wait, don't know which image editing software you have at your disposal. Hopefully, what is to follow can be extrapolated on.
In Photoshop, CS and higher ... the Highlight/Shadows adjustment would fit the creative bill quite well. Followed by, topped off with ... that of a Curves adjustment.
Or..
Back to the original thought, open your image up full-size ... grab a smaller 'brush' and erase a tad closer to Randall. Additionally, if a selection was made is to refine that selection by 'feathering' it. Play around with the pixel size on this note.
End results, employing the aforementioned stuff ... with some noise reduction thrown in.
But, I digress..
(/\ Which is a polite way of stating I might have overstepped my commentary boundaries here.)
Cute shot, nice shot. Truly.
Thanks for this morning's smile.
And ... for sharing the Randall's trials and tribulations with us. :o)
