This was the look I was going for in my previous post. Pretty much the same shot as before but slightly different. Shot with the camera's white balance set on the tungsten setting to give the night sky a blue tone. Not quite as dramatic a look as the other one, but I'm satisfied with it. Another photo thrown to the mercies of fotosketcher, or at least I think I did. I do recall adjusting the light levels, contrast and saturation at one point in the editing process. After that things got a bit murky. Chances are I took a step in the wrong direction or got distracted by some pretty lights and before I knew it I was looking at this.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Again another nice looking picture my friend and both as good.Very cold blue colour and the sun shining through gives a store book look to the scene.

It does look cold - but well done - it's just missing the silhouette of a wolf howling!

This is straight out of the first two lines of Crazy Arms
Wendell. Imaginative post.

Wendell - FIrst there's fire, then ice - great contrasts. The two images, side-by-side, would be beautiful mounted on a wall in the house. Thad

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

This is really cool, it looks like a scene out of an old horror movie. Really neat.

You got an interesting result here, Wendell and I like the blue, but I prefer your another work.

Well, that's what happens, Wendell, when I'm in San Diego for a week. Looks like half of the folks on Caedes already commented on your posting. Personally I like this one better than "Unexpected" although I agree with your assessment about "Unexpected" being more dramatic. Fotosketcher appears to be a pretty powerful tool, but I'm not convinced that this posting was improved by its use. The moon and the clouds look a little too funky to me. I'm wondering what the scene would look like without using Fotosketcher. However, inspite of my critique, on a 1 to 10 scale, this really has a fine look about it and would rate a solid 7.364.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
