A photo of a rarely seen in the daylight flying squirrel straight from the "I'm Feeling Silly" Folder. This one made several rounds through the editing machine and could use some more work to make it "perfect".

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Pretty clever and done very well Wendell. Junglegeorge used to do these all the time on this site. You can check out his work by going here.
Like you, he is very good at it.

I'm still shaking with laughter; so there might be a few typos here, Wendell. When I saw the title, I fully expected to see another of your drunken postings of your neighbor's dog. But never did I expect to see a wonderful and detailed image of a genuine flying squirrel inasmuch as they are nocturnal creatures as are their distant cousins from Africa, the flying rhinoceros.

I'm not going to pull a "Wendell" and download this shot and view it at 200% to look for cloning lines. At full size the cloning job looks pretty darn good to me.

Kudos and thanks to you, Wendell, for the best belly laugh I've had in weeks.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.

He he!! We have these around here too but not in this same order! They call them Squallows. Wonderful manipulation you did on this one!

Wendell - I've only heard of the famous, but elusive Nova Scotia flying rodent. And, here on Caedes, you show proof that it exists and you saw it. What a find! Be ready for the onslaught of National Geographic film crews... Thad
