Yet another photo of the Halifax Public Gardens found languishing in the bin. This one brought to you courtesy of a 2008 visit. I did 3 different crops of this and settled on this version for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

A viewing pleasure it is Wendell. Now if you have cut out all the commercials, it will be perfect. Looks like a get-together on the porch of the house. Has a Sunday afternoon feel to it. Goodnight John Boy.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Looks like it was an overcast day at the Halifax gardens, Wendell. I don't see any shadows. Love the colors in the gardens but I'm firmly opposed to white skies. When I first saw this shot, before I read the narrative, I thought that this might be your front yard. Guess not unless you live at the Halifax Gardens. Why are you posting from your bin? Certainly it must be springtime up there in the Arctic.

Dots

P.S. Looks like you have a little burn out where the white sky meets some of the smaller branches, but I'll give it a pass.

Wow this is a stunning looking photography and the detail and colours are superb. What a beautiful looking house and stunning gardens. You would feel like you was in heaven if you woke up to know you had that at your door step. You did a very nice job on the cropping in this piece. The only part I would suggest would help this shot is to clone the grass in bottom left corner.

Lovely looking gardens Wendell - the sky is typical summer sky here in Chicago area - not blue but hazy but all the flowers certainly make-up for that.
