Or version #5 as I like to call it.

I took a little stroll through the duck pond today. Which is not to be taken literally as the water is still quite cold and deep and I ain't found a way yet to hold my breath long enough to make it from one side to the other. So maybe not so much through the duck pond as around the pond.

In any event I distinctly remember stopping long enough to take a couple of dozen photos of these tulips, some ducks and other assorted birds, an odd tree or two and my right foot. Luckily I will not be subjecting you to the horrors of those photos, I'll just be inflicting this one on you.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Well i like the colours and the blurred back ground helps to bring he flowers and the colours forward. The only problem is there is a little to much blur with this one.If you were experimenting with blue it is very good.If you do not enlarge this photo, it is lovely it as nice hot colours.

It looks like a lot on the side to me, Wendell. Tulips standing at attention as you pass by and review them. I can tell which one is your favorite. Colors are great.

A quite dominant image, Wendell. I have to disagree with Roger about the depth of field impression.
It's the light/white images on the far shore that appear to frame the subject and create a significant distraction.
With those gone the background doesn't appear busy and the tulips dominate a tranquil scene.

The blur in this is very strong and it seems slightly oversaturated to my eyes but I like the composition and I like the DOF.

Inflicting is such a harsh word! Including when you just got done taking a troll through a duck pond. I will just enjoy the picture while you dry off;) Great shot of these beauties.

And I always thought that you walked on water.

I'm viewing this shot on a monitor at the local library since my old computer died and my new one is not expected until later today. First I must say that because the monitor here is older than my one at home and is tiny, this shot looks like a postage stamp; so you might as well ignore any comments I make about the quality of your image because I need a magnifying glass just to see what I'm supposed to be looking at.

Beautiful shot of some red blotches and green blotches.
