Another tree sculpture from town, this one being located down at the duck pond. This statue is Donald L. Eldrige, a forester by trade and an avid sportsman, and in the tradition of fishermen everywhere a great teller of tales. Or at least that's what it says on the plaque, just maybe not in those words.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

His fly (season) is open Wendell. Quite an honor to have your very own statue. Good shot and thanks for sharing.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Hi, Wendell,

I can't tell you how happy I am that you're struggling with noise issues in your clear blue skies. My close personal friend who was posting on here just saw your lake shot with the missing fountain, but it's not in your gallery yet or in the new images section; so I can't lambast that one yet although it shows the same globules that I get when I use a noise reducer.

Pretty nice shot...better than the trout or your neighbor's coyote, but not in your top 10. Good composition but a little off in the clarity department.

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine
