Some flowers taking their own sweet time to bloom. Not responsible for the buttercups who crept into the photo at the last minute. See if I fertilize them again.
This is an excellent posting, Wendell, considering the extreme lighting conditions. Wonderful job of getting this image with no noise in the orange background. Well focused on those buds on the left and a nicely composed shot. Backlighting has always been a concern for me, but I like the looks of this one. I can't say that I've ever even seen anything similar. A+ for originality, effort and creativity.
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
your title completely altered my opinion of this photo, otherwise i would have complimented you on capturing a contrast that is nice to look at, with title, i see birth and health. either way. i concur with taking sweet time to bloom, rushing life makes no sense
how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB
There is a bit of the poet in you Wendell. Excellent shot with the silhouettes. I imagine your just walking by them would surely be all the fertilizer they need. :)
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
