A rare occurrence we have here folks. A golf sanctuary devoid of golfites. I'm guessing the daily limit of golf beasts had been bagged that day and the mighty hunters were off enjoying sand-wedges and tee. Or maybe the golf beasts had finally won a round and chased the sub-par golfers off to hide in their holes in the ground.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I suspect the birdie and Eagles and the occasional Albatross have flown away for the day so the golfers are at the 19th hole talking about their great conquests Wendell. Whatever, they are missing an opportunity because when the snow beast returns, they will have to stay home and keep their balls warm.
Good shot by the way.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.

You've captured a very unusual sight, Wendell. I can't remember ever seeing cloud formations under an overcast sky. The title and narrative says it all. Unless there are active lightning strikes, golfers around here wouldn't even budge from the course. Sometimes even the lightning strikes don't slow them down. The narrative and the sky are the best parts of the posting. To me the shot doesn't look really sharp. Was it a windy day because it almost looks like motion blur on the plants in the foreground. Also the shot looks a little flat. Maybe a shot of contrast is in order. I'm headed back to sleep.

A lot of drama in the sky Wendell in a peaceful landscape.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

The sky is stunning and very dramatic looking too. This photo as a great composition and the river is one nice touch too this photography as well.I also love how you have the tree on the left, and one in the distance on the right, it guides you eyes through the middle of the photography.
